Will we be able to track our orders online?

Yes, once you have an account with HomeDirect, you will not only be able to track your orders online, but you will be prompted with e-mails providing shipment status updates and links to track your orders.

How many people deliver our product?

For small shipments (weighing less than 200 lbs.), your product may be delivered by one person; if it’s more than 200 lbs., your shipment will be delivered by a minimum of two people and, based on the commodity, up to four people.

What products do you deliver?

HomeDirect is North America’s most innovative and customer-focused specialty delivery company for large consumer durables, such as furniture, fitness equipment, electronics, home improvement products or anything else that’s large, requires specialized handling, and isn’t perishable or hazardous.

Do you deliver everywhere in the U.S.?

Yes, HomeDirect provides a “geography-free” solution where we pick up anywhere in the U.S. and deliver to anywhere in the U.S.

Do you deliver internationally?

HomeDirect has a division called HomeDirectCanada that focuses on the intra-Canadian movement of large consumer durables and shipments moving from Canada to the U.S. and the U.S. to Canada. We currently do not provide delivery services outside of the U.S. or Canada.

Do you provide complex assembly?

Yes, we provide assembly of items ranging from furniture to fitness equipment to saunas. We normally limit the time on-site at the customer’s residence to 30 minutes, but we have many service offerings that allow assembly for longer periods of time.

Do you provide curbside delivery?

Only under very rare circumstances do we provide curbside delivery. Our market research has shown that delivering a large consumer durable to the curbside frequently results in consumer dissatisfaction. Normally our services begin at the customer’s door, or threshold, and may continue into the home for unpacking, debris removal, and assembly services.

Do you provide Express Services if we need to deliver something quickly?

HomeDirect has three services, each with distinct transit times:

  • Our Standard service delivers throughout the US in approximately 10 days.
  • Our Direct Express Non-Guaranteed service delivers throughout the U.S. in approximately seven days.
  • Our Direct Express Guaranteed service delivers throughout the U.S. in approximately five days.
